Building Northeast Anthony Henday Drive

As part of the Capital City Link General Partnership, Flatiron is leading the design and construction of the northeast section of a new ring road around the city of Edmonton, Alberta. This final leg of the Edmonton Ring Road is Alberta’s single largest highway construction project to date.

Running from Manning Drive to just south of Whitemud Drive, the project includes 27 kilometres of six- and eight-lane divided roadway, nine interchanges, two road flyovers, eight rail crossings (flyovers), and two bridges across the North Saskatchewan River – for a total of 47 bridge structures. The project will improve the safety and operation of the highway by reducing congestion and commute times throughout Edmonton.
