Flatiron Receives Second Place for Construction Safety Excellence Awards
Broomfield, Colorado (November 9, 2018) – Flatiron West, Inc., a division of Flatiron Construction Corp., (Flatiron) received second-place for the “California Construction Safety Excellence Award” for 600,000 to 1,000,000 worker hours in the Heavy/Civil/Highway Division for exemplary construction safety in the state of California. The Award was presented by The Associated General Contractors of California (AGC).
The annual AGC of California Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA) recognizes construction companies who excel at safety performance and are committed to maintaining a safe working environment on their jobsites. Unlike the National AGC Safety Awards (NASA) program that limits the criteria to frequency rates, the CSEA selection process is considerably more comprehensive. Judges look for evidence of company management involvement, active employee participation, safety training, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation.
The receipt this award is a true testament to the established culture and efforts that all Flatiron employees put into ensuring safety is a priority in every aspect of our work.
