City of Seal Beach Main Street Lighting Project

Seal Beach Electric Group Blog Post ImageSeal Beach, Calif. – Main Street in Seal Beach, Calif., became aglow just in time for the holidays thanks to Flatiron. Workers installed decorative streetlights and are nearly complete with upgrades along Main Street in a $505,000 project for the City of Seal Beach, making the main drag more accessible and look reminiscent of how it appeared in its heyday decades ago.

The small, tight-knit community provided an opportunity for collaboration and input—residents contributed their thoughts about the design of the project and were excited to see the lights lit up a few weeks before the holiday. The project ran smoothly, on-time and on-budget, in part due to the great working relationship with the City of Seal Beach.

“This is one of the most enjoyable projects I’ve worked on, and it’s not just because I grew up here,” says general foreman Wayne Tesoriero. “I attribute it to the excitement of the residents, store owners and the city towards the work of beautifying their city.” The project is nearing completion, with only re-striping remaining to finish the project.
