Bridges to Prosperity

Since 2009, Flatiron has partnered with non-profit organization Bridges to Prosperity to design and build footbridges over impassable or life-threatening river crossings in rural areas around the world such as Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua. Flatiron is proud to support Bridges to Prosperity through major funding, material supply, innovative design and on-site volunteer project management and labor.

Educational Outreach

Flatiron values education and supports a variety of outreach programs, sponsorships and scholarships. Our engineers visit elementary schools to teach bridge building classes and Flatiron hosts a competition for interns to compete for college scholarships
