Flatiron and our employees are highly committed and engaged with our communities.
Flatiron supports local, national, and international programs through employee volunteer programs and charitable giving. Whether building footbridges in Central America or homes for Habitat for Humanity down the street, Flatiron prides itself on being a good corporate citizen.
Bridges to Prosperity
Since 2009, Flatiron has partnered with non-profit organization Bridges to Prosperity to design and build footbridges over impassable or life-threatening river crossings in rural areas around the world such as Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua. Flatiron is proud to support Bridges to Prosperity through major funding, material supply, innovative design and on-site volunteer project management and labor.
Flatiron values education and supports a variety of outreach programs, sponsorships and scholarships. Our engineers visit elementary schools to teach bridge building classes and Flatiron hosts a competition for interns to compete for college scholarships
Flatiron recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and makes it a priority to be involved in the areas where we live and work. Charitable causes are championed at the Division level.
