The Port Mann Bridge

The Port Mann Bridge’s main span over the Fraser River in Vancouver, B.C., is nearly complete in this photo taken early June. On June 16, crews reached a major milestone by
successfully connecting
the north and south
cantilevers. The operation started at 6 a.m. and took 11 hours, slowed down slightly by rain.
