Anderson Dam Tunnel Project Groundbreaking Ceremony

Flatiron is proud to have been awarded the Anderson Dam Tunnel Project at Morgan Hill, California.

On July 7, 2021, Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Anderson Dam Seismic Retrofit Project. Check out the video of the ceremony for a project overview.

 

 

Project Info

The Anderson Dam reservoir is located about 15 miles south of San Jose, California. Flatiron will be constructing a new outlet tunnel and outfall structure that include butterfly and fixed cone valves to improve reliability and safety.

Owned by Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) and valued at approximately $161 million, the Anderson Dam Tunnel construction work is a part of the Anderson Dam Seismic Retrofit project and is scheduled to finish in 2024.
