“…numbers and an active slate of projects tell only part of Flatiron’s story. According to Grant Johns, vice president in charge of Flatiron’s Colorado operations, years of focusing on the basics—retaining good employees and cultivating repeat business—have positioned the firm not only for new opportunities but also for a shift in the way those projects are being delivered.”

In June, Engineering News-Record announced that Flatiron was its Mountain States Contractor of the Year for Colorado, Wyoming and the Dakotas. Read the prestigious industry outlet’s full article detailing why it chose us.

ENR also ranked Flatiron #9 in Transportation and Heavy Contractor as well as #49 Overall.

In 2022, Flatiron increased our aviation presence at the world’s third busiest airport – Denver International Airport. Our water projects such as Marcy Gulch and transportation projects like I-76 York to Dahlia road reconstruction build a stronger, more resilient Colorado.

While ENR recognized Flatiron for our work in the Mountain States, our commitment to collaborative delivery projects knows no boundaries.
