Flatiron appoints Richard Grabinski as Chief Preconstruction & Strategy Officer

To strengthen Flatiron’s position as an industry leader, the company has promoted Richard Grabinski to Chief Preconstruction & Strategy Officer. In his new role, Grabinski will lead and fully implement Flatiron’s strategy focused on winning collaborative projects with a balanced risk profile.

In his new, expanded role, Grabinski will build synergies and drive toward an integrated approach across the company to achieve greater success winning and delivering collaborative contracts. He will lead Flatiron strategy development focusing on emerging trends and marketplace opportunities and continue to have executive responsibilities for major Flatiron operations.

With nearly 30 years of industry experience—17 years with Flatiron—Grabinski shares his expertise by serving on the International Partnering Institute Board of Advisors, the Beavers Organization Board of Directors, and the AGC of California Statewide Caltrans Liaison Board. He has worked as a mentor with the Caltrans District 4 Mentor-Protégé Program and served on the Caltrans Construction Partnering Steering Committee.

Grabinski holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University.
