Emergency Bridge Completed at Half Moon Bay, California

In early 2023, heavy rains damaged a bridge to the Elkus Ranch, an environmental education center that provides hands-on learning experiences for Greater San Francisco Bay Area youth. 

The University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources runs the ranch and contacted Flatiron to construct a new bridge over Purisima Creek. The replacement bridge was completed within two weeks so the ranch could open in time for children’s summer camp programs.
