Flatiron Texas Wins Safety Award for Fifth Year in a Row

“This is truly a team effort, and I am extremely proud to be part of the Texas district.”

Texas District Safety Manager James Walcik has a lot of reasons to be proud these days.

Flatiron has received the AGC of Texas & Texas Department of Transportation Bluebonnet Safety Award for an incredible fifth year in a row. Additionally for the second time in three years, Texas Safety received the AGC of America National Safety Award. Both awards are given to companies with excellent safety records.

Flatiron will officially receive the accolades at a ceremony in early October.

Walcik says his department believes all employees contribute to supporting the company’s safety mission. “These awards are not possible without the continued support and engagement from newly hired and seasoned employees, supervisors, all the way up through the executive team,” he says.
