US 50 Project - Flatiron

U.S. 50 MULTIMODAL CORRIDOR ENHANCEMENT
AND REHABILITATION PROJECT

Flatiron and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) are collaborating on a project to enhance Sacramento’s multimodal corridor network. This project will widen and reconstruct to the latest safety standards 53.6 lane miles of U.S. Highway 50 between Watt Avenue and Interstate 5. Construction is scheduled to begin in November and is expected to be completed by March 2024. Contractors, material suppliers and skilled workers are encouraged to join this team building vital infrastructure.
