Building on Flatiron’s already strong aviation experience in Texas, we are reconstructing Dallas Love Field’s main commercial Runway 13R-31L. Portions of adjoining Taxiway C, and the vehicle service road are being rebuilt as well.

The project includes paving the 8,000 foot runway, which received a significant upgrade in 1990, but has now outlived its design life. Drainage and electrical systems will also be upgraded, including updated edge/centerline lights, and a new Precision Approach Path Indicator.

Overall Flatiron is delivering a new runway and related infrastructure that will be safer for modern air travel.

At 8,800 feet, Runway 13R-31L is Dallas Love Field’s longest runway.

Runway had outlived its design life, new one will be safer for modern air travel.

Old concrete will be recycled.
