Flatiron Hosts 100+ College Students at Anderson Dam

More than 100 engineering students from nine Bay Area colleges and universities toured the Anderson Dam Tunnel Project. Flatiron, client Valley Water and heavy engineering association The Beavers hosted the event to inspire future engineers and construction professionals.

Students learned different aspects of the project by rotating among six stations throughout the site. Recent graduates who now work for Flatiron led talks at each station, helping students envision themselves in such roles and understand career options.

Engineering students from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Fresno State, Sacramento State, Santa Clara University, Cal Berkeley, San Jose State, Chico State, University of the Pacific and UC Davis attended the event.
